I had to spend a few hours in Hutchinson while my vehicle was getting worked on, so I went to this place up get some work done. It wasn't particularly quiet, but the atmosphere was nice. I was able to find a table near an outlet without issue. I ordered hot tea, which ended up being mediocre. The tea was fine, but the water wasn't hot enough to brew properly. Still, this is typical for a small town coffee shop. After that I ordered a coconut milk caramel latte. That was delicious! They must use a higher fat coconut milk, because there was excellent foam on top, approaching a cappuccino instead of a latte. The end was a bit sweet, so I didn't end up finishing it, but I'd still order it again! They had free WiFi that was sufficient for my needs. I'd definitely go there again if I am in a similar situation.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The Caramel Bean frozen drink is amazing!! They have many more drinks on the online menu than posted in the store. Super fast service. Has a huge seating area to visit and read. Lots of knick knacks to purchase.

I found Metropolitan Coffee while I am here in Hutchinson working on a construction project. Staff is awesome, and they make a better product than Starbucks and Scooters. I highly recommend going to Metropolitan Coffee.

We were really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food here. Owners are very polite. Very spacious location. Coffee tastes just right! The prices are very reasonable as well. There’s plenty of space available to come sit down and read a book while you’re enjoying your favorite coffee. I felt like they could make the seating area a bit more cozy with adding some booths. We will definitely pay a visit again!

Best coffee shop in town. Great atmosphere for hanging out, chatting, or laptop working. Always friendly service. Latte art quality varies depending on the barista from a blob of foam to real art. Delicious scones.

The food and drinks are great. I like the Italian cream sodas. The service is ok some people are great, some people there are rude, but I love the metro. The environment is great. Their live music is great. I recommend this place 100%

The best frappe I've ever had, the Brave Bessie Freeze is delicious and reminds me of butterbeer from Harry Potter. My husband got a latte with praline and vanilla. Both drinks are amazing, and the staff is one in a million. So sweet so polite!!! A definite recommendation to go to while in KS.

I go here whenever I'm in town to meet up with a good friend in the area. Great place for that - comfortable chairs & couches, good for conversation. Had a few tables and people studying, but spacious and spread out enough that you don't feel like you're disruptive for having a lively discussion. I've just had coffee, chai, and a smoothie once, all top tier. They had a variety of baked goods that looked delicious, and an evolving menu besides the staples you'd expect. Great place, what a code shop should be.

This is such a cool little coffee shop! The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable and the coffee was better than expected! I had a dark roast with room for cream. They had glass mugs and a little individual cream pitcher. It made the experience more of an 'at home' welcoming feel. There's fun art, games, books, and a convenient restroom. Plenty of seating!
